The side stripe trend has been around for quite a while now... but it's taken me a while to find a pair of trousers that were right! I'd had my eye on a Whistles pair for ages, but couldn't quite justify the spend! I then came across these in ZARA for just £19.99... so of course I bought them. They actually feel like leggings to wear. So comfy!
I've paired them with an over size black knit. Anything even slightly leggings like, I need to cover my bum. So this worked perfectly, and is from ANNA POULSEN (a little independent shop in Tunbridge Wells). My shoes are my new RUSSELL AND BROMLEY loafers and I'm so in love with them! I've worn them almost every day since I got them and have not had a single blister. They are made of such a soft leather that they needed no wearing in at all.
My bag, you will have seen in my latest post. My RADLEY backpack. This is also fairly new and forgot how much I loved a backpack until I got this one. It's such a perfect size and is so handy always having those hands free. I don't know how I'd be with out it now!
I am ALL about the staple pieces for your wardrobe. My leather jacket gets worn such a lot, it was so worth spending just that little bit more on it because it really does last! Today I am wearing a new pair of black leather boots and also a new leather backpack. Both items that won't go out of style and should last rather a long time!
I love a classic chelsea boot and these ones from MODA IN PELLE are so comfortable too! They needed no wearing in and I've not had a single blister. I have pretty much worn them everyday since they arrived to. I love them!
My new backpack is from RADLEY. Since wearing this I've remembered how practical it is to have a backpack... especially being a mum! It means I've got my hands free all the time which is always ideal. I've had so many complements on this bag too, I love it so much!
The jumper I'm wearing today (by the way it's an absolute bargain at £22) I actually spotted on someone on Instagram. I quickly went to buy it but there was a 3-4 week wait!! It didn't worry me too much so I placed my order... and waited patiently. It arrived earlier this week, and oh my goodness its cosy! It's got a lovely fleece lining so perfect for this chillier weather.
My necklaces I wear most days so you will have definitely seen these before if you follow me on Instagram or have been reading my blog for a while. Both from Missoma, but my little F charm is new... for my baby girl Florence!
Hooray for my first ever Mothers Day which is quickly approaching! Since having Florence my world has changed for ever in the best way possible. I suddenly have someone to put first in every way possible, not because I have to, but because I want to.
The amount of joy this little person brings is just amazing. Seeing every little development is so rewarding. So far, rolling, sitting (with a little help) smiling and giggling... every second is amazing.
I guess it's not a bad life being fed, cuddled, napped and then repeating that all over again for a very long time. What's not to be happy about.
For my first Mothers day I plan to be lazy! Florence and I have both been treated to some gorgeous new pyjamas from Debenhams for the occasion. Aren't they beautiful! I've linked them both at the bottom of the post. My Pj's are by Nine - Savannah Miller and Florence's are by Bluezoo. Also, my pyjamas must be made on a non crease material. I woke up and my pjs literally looked like they'd just been taken off the hanger!
If any Dad's out there happen to be reading this... these are great presents!!
Wishing every single Mummy the happiest of Mothers Days this Sunday!
I recently got this check dress which I thought would be great in the summer with a little white tee underneath (the dress is scrappy), but it seems I just couldn't wait until summer to wear it!
So, on this VERY cold day I decided to pair it with a black roll neck jumper, and leather jacker and then a coat on top too. Yep, it really was that cold!
I love an item that is versatile and this certainly is, which means it will be well worth every penny.
I've recently stocked up on some great winter classics. The first being this knit! It's from an independent shop in Tunbridge Wells called Anna Poulson and I literally love everything they sell. I find it seriously hard to walk past and not go in. I have this jumper also in black and live in them!
The coat I'm wearing today is from SHEIN and is an absolute bargain! It's £30! There are a lot of check style coats around at the moment and I'm really liking the trend. Toyshop and Newlook both have some really lovely ones.
