The stripes are back! I'm wearing a couple of new brands today. The first is called TWIST X TURN which is just recently available at Topshop oxford circus and also online. They have really beautiful simple kimono style designs and I'm very excited to be styling this stripey number today!
The necklace I’m wearing today is by a company called POSH TOTTY DESIGNS who is stocked on JEWELSTREET (your one stop shop for all things jewellery!) JewelStreet stock so many amazing brands both in the UK and outside so the choice available is amazing. It will be hard not to add everything to your basket!
This is where I discovered Posh Totty. As a brand they specialise in personalised items which everyone loves! Most of their items you can get your own engraving on which is always such a lovely touch both for yourself, but these also make such beautiful gifts for friends and family! All their items so unique. What’s also great about Posh Totty is that they have such a variation of metals. Most of us like to stick to our one metal type. For me it’s silver! But… If you’re more of a gold person or even rose gold, then these guys have it all! This locket actually comes in two different sizes, I am wearing the small. You can get it in either silver, gold or rose gold… AND you can either get the engraving in clear or with a black print. To me, this necklace feels so personal and I know how unique it is having chosen all the different extras myself.
If you need a little inspiration as to what engraving to get, it’s well worth checking out their Instagram! They have lots of lovely images of products with words such as ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ as well as dates, names, initials and all sorts! There are a couple of pieces where you can get multiple engravings and I think it would be so lovely to have children’s names on these. Without any little people myself yet… I stuck to my initials!

I've paired the stripey kimono top with a pair of denim skinny jeans and some slip on shoes (the easiest shoes to wear) I am so lovely a slip on at the moment! I love the buckle detailing on these too.
The watch I am wearing today is from DANIEL WELLINGTON and is from their brand new collection of classic petite watches! I went for one with the rose gold trim (link below) and absolutely love it!

My bag is also a fairly new item which I love! Although today I'm using it by the little hoop handles, it also has an across the body strap which is always so useful! It's also a great way from taking it as a day bag to more of an evening bag. Love a bit of versatility!
I'm finally in a dress! It seems like such a long time that I've had my legs out and felt so summery in good old England! We have been truly spoilt with the weather recently and am really hoping it lasts the whole summer!
Today I am wearing this gorgeous new dress from SHEIN and yes, as you will have noticed... another gingham item! This was the second piece of gingham I added to my wardrobe and I already have a couple more pieces! Can you tell I'm a fan?!
I'm also using my new FIORELLI bag (link below) which is new to the site and isnt it gorgeous! Such a perfect size and also comes with a long strap making it even more practical. I'm loving all the miniature bags at the moment, I think they look so cute! I went for this bag in a tan because I find it's a colour that just goes with everything! I feel it's working particularly well today with all the monochrome!
Paired with some classics, my WHISTLES leather jacket and my R&B espadrilles, which are 2 items I could not live with out. They get used over and over again, making it all more worth while just spending that little bit extra on them.
New season, new gym kit?! Yep, I think so too! I LOVE these soft bluey/grey shades that New Balance have recently bought in to their collection. Perfect for the new season... and practical too as we still seem to be experiencing the odd down poor!
I think my favourite item here has to be the leggings... they are also the most reasonable out of all the pieces. They are such a lovely materials and quite thin which is great for these warmers days. The last thing you need is some thick lycra!
These trainers are also SO comfortable. I've had a pair in this style before and they are really great for running in. It's so important to get a pair that support you and these ones really work for me.
I'm all set for my summer fitness... no excuses now!
I've been obsessing over gingham over quite a while now, and there is so much in the shops which is lovely. I finally made my first gingham item, although since getting this skirt I now also have a dress and a top... the full set!
I'm wearing this FASHION UNION gingham skirt with a simple silky cami top and my ASOS mules. Perfect for a warm evening in Crete. Wish I could teleport my self back there now!
I really love that this skirt is a wrap and has a tie at the side. It really breaks up the print a little, as one whole block of gingham can tend to look a bit square. The perfect addition to add a little femininity too. I'm already planning my next post in my gingham dress... although I may have to spread them out a bit!
Last week, I managed to escape chilly England and head off to Crete for a week with my hubby and a couple of friends! The holiday was long over due and oh my goodness I missed what it felt like to have sun beaming down on your body!
It also gave me the chance to wear my new Boohoo dress which I bought especially for the occasion. I'm it will get use through the summer as well though.
Last year there were so many bardot styles around... and although this year the shops aren't quite so over flowing with them, there are still plenty to choose from.
I paired the dress with a pair of ASOS heeled mules which I love! I'm a fan of mules and trying to add to my collection at the moment! So easy to kick off under the table if your feet get achy too!
I'm back in the UK now... and back in my jeans. I'm ready for the sun to reappear here so the summer dresses can come out to stay!
