Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to stay at the gorgeous Fair Oak Farm in East Sussex. It's a beautiful estate with so much to it! There is the main farm house, various barns, tree houses, shepherds huts and eco lodges! We were staying in the Hay Barn which was just perfect!
The Hay Barn had full length windows both sides to it which in the summer would be just amazing all opened up. The night we stayed was very wet and blustery but we could have felt more cosy! We soon made friends with our neighbours... the peacocks! Very friendly and very happily roaming around the grounds.
This is the perfect place to stay if you've got a large party of people to accommodate, whilst having plenty of your own space at the same time. There are some amazing eateries just down the road in Mayfield too. I've been to the Middle House Pub a number of times and I could not recommend their roast dinners more. They are simply amazing! Next on my list to try is the Pink Cabbage!
Such an idyllic tranquil stay in the middle of the countryside. Wish I could pop here every weekend!
That's a title I never thought I'd see on my blog. Until last week I only really thought of white jeans and skinny fitting and for summer ONLY. That was... until I came across this pair of barrel leg jeans in the WHISTLES sale and I fell a little bit in love with them!
I thought they were worth a shot, so ordered a couple of sizes to try. FYI, these come up big so I went down half a size and they fit me so well! So practical with the barrel leg, and nice and fitted around my waist. Now I've got these, I really want them in a few other colours! This pair in particular were £95 down to £25 which was just too good to resist. I'll link at the bottom of the post the jeans in a few other colours also as this pair has completely sold out. They do have a really similar white pair though!
You know when you and your friend channel the exact same outfit... well this is just what happened to me and my friend Nellie! We were definitely on the same page last Saturday night. Who doesn't love a leopard print midi anyway!
I'm in the green. It was my first time wearing this WHISTLES skirt which I got for Christmas. I love it so much! I can't wait to wear it more casually too. Nellie's skirt is TOPSHOP and both out bodies are ASOS. I love a body because they always look so neat, no ruffling up and always staying firmly tucked in.
My boots were a new purchase... I've been after socks boots for ages and was so excited when I found these on ASOS. Even though they were a tad too high for me I thought I'd keep them anyway. I loved wearing them the whole night, but was so upset to find in the morning that they had a big hole in the back of one of the boots! I'm sure this was just a bad pair so have ordered replacements. Hopefully this pair stay whole! Find all links at the bottom of the post!
This weekend was a particularly festive one... and I loved it! Yes, it is still November, but it's also only one month until Christmas so I figured festivities are allowed to begin!
Our day was filled with gingerbread making and festive decorating! I've started to put up a few or the more subtle decorations but am saving the tree for December 1st. I think that's fair!
So... our festive day started with biscuits, followed but a winter walk to track down some festive foliage, and it ended with us decorating our stars with our greenery. Just perfect! This is going to become a yearly tradition for sure!
There is a whole lot of leopard out there on the high street and I'm absolutely loving it. This is the first piece that I've picked up and it took me a while to find the right thing! I then came across this skirt while I was in H&M so of course had to try it on straight away... and loved it!
I've worn this skirt in a couple of different ways to which I love. You can't beat a versatile item and that is always what I'm looking for!
Today, I've paired it with a logo sweatshirt, leather jacket and plain white trainers. A very easy casual look to throw on in the morning.
I'll leave all links at the bottom of the page as usual!
