Today, I chose to be a bear! Wearing my new Christmas presents which seem's to have invlolved a lot of fur! I love all the hats around with the double pom pom, I think they are so adorable! So of course when I opened this present from my little sister I was rather happy.
With my new fluffy ears I'm wearing this DREAMY new coat that I've had my eye on for months!! This coat is from Whistles and I have literally worn it every day since Christmas... and probably will for the forseeable future too, especially in this gorgeous crisp weather!
I really wish every winter day was exactly like this. It only got up to 4 degrees this day so the frost stayed all day long making all the fields glisten in the sunshine. It also made me realise I need to go on far more walks when all this beautiful countryside is literally on my door step.
Just one day off the BIG DAY... hopefully all your presents are wrapped and under the tree ready for some very exciting faces to open tomorrow morning. Christmas Eve really is the begining... especially when kids are around the excitment is just unbearable!
A mince pie or 2 is left by the fire place ready for the arrival of the big man himself... and of course a little orange snack for the reindeer. Typing this I have just realised that I have not had a mince pie yet this Christmas!! That HAS to change today.
I'm so happy Christmas is here... Spending time with your family and friends, drinking mulled wine and mince pies (I have some making up to do) with absolutely no excuses needed... because after all it is the season to be merry! I am so ready!
This is just a little Christmas sign off from me, wishing you all the happiest's of Christmases!
Merry Christmas to all.... and to all a good night!
With it being December, it definitely doesn't mean you can't add a little floral to your outfit! Today, I'm wear my new striped shirt with this floral design embroidered all over the front. Anything embroidered right now I'm just a little obsessed with! There so much of it around at the moment and am loving it all!
This particular shirt is from SheIn, I have paired it with my Whistles leather jacket which I havent worn in ages! I'm quite enjoying the mild December weather as it means I'm not wrapped up in my winter coat all day every day!
I'm also wearing my Topshop Joni jeans which are started to look a little faded so desperatley need a new blacker pair! Although you can't really tell they are too faded in the photos thankfully! Also... these shoes I got in the black Friday sale and are super comfy! So pleased I got them in two colours. They're a keeper!
I almost forgot to mention, this is actually the first post I've done wearing my glasses! The opticians have told me I really need to stop wearing my contacts so much and wear my glasses AT LEAST once a week, so this was the day I started! I love this pair too... I'll try and link them below!
The hardest part of buying gifts is definitely the initial part of deciding what to get. Inspiration is always needed! Hopefully, if you haven't done all your shopping already this will give you a little helping hand whether you're after something for your Mum, Grandad or nephew... this covers all!
First up, the girls in the family...
So many of these bits I absolutley love and would be very happy to receive my self! A gorgeous silver chain watch from ELIE BAUMONT, smellies from THE WHITE COMPANY spa range (which is my favourite range of them all!), the classic COCO CHANEL, note pads from HOMESENSE (the best place to buy note pads!), a handy leather clutch from SOPHIE FLEMING and a super fluffy pair of slippers from JOHN LEWIS (currently sold out!). What more could girl want!
Second, the boys in the family...
Boys, boys, boys. So hard to buy for year on year! My staple pressie is always Molton Brown. I love it so much and am always happy when my hubby is gifted it as it means I get to use in in the shower! So of course, I started my boys gift list with shower gel and soap from MOLTON BROWN, also and very obviously socks because even though they are boring they are also always needed! This multi pack is from ASOS. A couple of jumpers also ASOS as boys presents seem to be all the more practical than the girls. Topped off by a beautiful smelling after shave BLEU DE CHANEL and choccies from M&S.
Lastly, the kiddos...
Kids are a tricky one. I try so hard to combine something that is actually practical as well as exciting to open! As soon as I thought of the idea of personalised towels I was so excited! I bought 6 for all my nieces and nephews from TOWELS R US, and the quailty is just brilliant! This was the practical present, I thought the parents would think... yes this will actually get used! So... more for the kids I also added sticker books and story books from WATERSTONES. Never to forget the all important chocolate! All my edible gifts this year are from M&S! They have such a great range where you can choose 3 for £10 which includes a stocking! Also, just because it was so super adorable, a gorgeous little bear suit from THE LITTLE WHITE COMPANY. Possibly the cutest shop for all things baby!
So hopefully, if you havent done all your shopping this brings you a little inspiration as I know personally how much is needed! If you have done all your shopping then GO YOU! May all you Christmas's be merry and bright!
It's that time of year again... I couldn't be happier that is is finally December, so its socially acceptable to talk CHRISTMAS! Obviously... a key part of this season is your Christmas party dress. If ever there was an excuse you needed, this is the one!
Here are my top 10 festive dresses for the party season. I think I'll take one of each... thanks!
