There a whole lot of ruffles and frills in the shops at the moment... and I'm loving it! I love how girly they all are, it's refreshing to see super feminine pieces!
Although, these things are always easily balanced out with a leather jacket and black ankle boots which is something I would definitely do. Still, super cute though!
Here are my favourites I've seen whilst on my daily ASOS browse over the last week...
I'm dedicating this post to my rather gorgeous new pair of boots. You have probably spotted them on my Instagram already but I am totally in love with them and so ready to put my sandals away for good!
These boots come in both brown and black, but I felt black would perfectly complement my rather minimalistic wardrobe... and I was rather drawn to their shine!
I'm also wearing my new khaki knit. I LOVE Khaki. One week recently, I realised I had worn khaki green everyday so have since tried to spread the colour through out my weekly wardrobe a little! This is my latest khaki buy and I'm really quite pleased to be stocking up on knits for the winter season ahead!
I'm pairing my new slouchy knit with skinny black jeans and just a simple white vest adding a little brightness to break up all the dark!

With a new season, comes new clothes... probably the best part about it! I've done a little round up of my favourite work wear pieces to get you through the Summer to Autumn transition!
I've also tried to choose pieces that could individually be perfect for the evening or weekend as well, just so you can make that cost per wear all the more worth while!
I'm starting to wonder every time I shoot a post in the sunshine whether it will be my last that feels like summer! For now at least, I can hold on to it considering this day was 30 degrees which is pretty remarkable for a British Summers day... especially in September!
So while the sun shines, I'm still in my mini skirts and espadrilles... although deep down I'm actually a little excited for jumpers and boots! Shh!
So with out diving straight out of summer I'm keeping this simple look rather monochrome with a touch of silver!
I hope by now you have noticed my rather lovely new necklace. It is by jewellery designer Katie Mullally who makes the most gorgeous range of sterling silver pieces. Specialising in the most beautiful charms, hence the title of this post. Available in all silver, yellow gold and rose gold… making the task of choosing just one piece rather tricky!
This 6 pence charm caught my eye straight away and I am definitely a silver kind of girl so this was an instant winner for me. I think everyone has their metal of choice which they stick to, although I have tried to branch out to gold in the past… I’m back on the silver wagon for good!
Along with all the beautiful charms available, you can also choose a chain of choice which comes in a range of 5 different lengths. From choker at 14 inches, to pendant length at 32 inches with 16’’, 18’’ and 24’’ in between, you are sure to get the exact right length for you! I am wearing the 18 inch length chain which is perfect for me. You can also choose from charm bracelet chains if that is how you wish to wear your charm or charms. All of Katie Mullaly’s pieces are British designed and British made making them all the more desirable for us patriotic Brits!
I think the piece I have seen the most on people is definitely Katie Mullally's wish bone, such a classic design with that sentimental touch too!
I first came across Katie Mullally on Jewel Street, an online shop which is literally your one stop shop for all things jewellery! From super sparkly and all things diamonds, to simple classic pieces rather like this item I’m wearing today.
Jewel Street stock over 250 different jewellery boutiques from all over the world meaning you have a whole lot of choice to choose from. After just 5 minutes browsing I had a rather large ‘dream’ basket full of all sorts of goodies. A shop I will be sure to revisit in the near future! I’m so pleased to have discovered both Jewel Street and Katie Mullally… the first but definitely not last item from them I will own from them I’m sure!
A look which kept me suitably cool on this rather wonderful hot day, accessorised with my new lucky charm which I've worn everyday since!

I've decided to start a little 'Must Haves' series where I can put all the things I am currently lusting over, into this little space on the internet I call my own.
I often think, I wish I could put up a little edit of all the... dresses for weddings that would be great, or all the knits I desperately need for the winter (you know, that kind of thing... expect one about winter boot must haves too!). So, here it is! I've also added a couple of 'Hot Picks' post for the last couple of weeks so make sure to check out the new section of the blog!
Enough of the intro, here are my hit knits that I'd really in my wardrobe... right.... about... now!
