So, when I saw this super cute denim pinafore dress on Zara I knew I needed it, and it went straight in to my basket... along with a lot of other things. To my excitement, on Saturday Mum suggested a trip to Bluewater which I was never going to turn down. This meant first stop ZARA!
With my new ZARA pinny I have paired my trusty WHISTLES leather jacket which comes almost everywhere with me. My striped top is also WHISTLES but is last season... so I have linked something similar for you HERE. Lastly, another new purchase from the weekend... my little black handbag from ACCESSORIZE. I needed this handbag (heard that before?) I really needed a bag that could go on my shoulder as my current one I could only hold in my hand which is just not practical! Also, it zips up along the top which makes if far more secure. So that's the justification done. I hope you like the look!
There is soooo much I want this pay day! I don't know if it's because I have been away and done no shopping but I feel like winter is here and its time to buy a coat.. or 2, and some winter wollies! I have managed to squeeze my list down to a top 10. I hope you like them. Remember, just click on the image to get to the shopping page.
I need to get my hands on some of these ASAP. I will definitely be making an order at some point later today! Happy shopping!
Well, England is being positively miserable! Although I kind of love being tucked up all cosy at home when it is chucking it down outside, its hard to think this time last week I was lying on a beach in 40 degree heat! So, I'm just taking a little flash back to the summer that has now officially GONE.
I've always be a major fan of bikinis and go over board usually bringing more bikinis than I will even have time to wear! Bold prints and bright colours are the way to go, I seem to have particularly taken to leaf print this holiday. ASOS is my go to shop for swimmers, they have a really great fuller bust range and the swimwear often comes in a range of styles so you can mix and match which shape top or bottoms you want to go for. Very handy for alternating those tan lines!
The above look has the beach much have, Levi shorts. Super handy, super comfy and seem to just get better with age. This Bikini you can find here and a range of bottoms are available too. My bag is an Accessorize number which I fell totally in love with as soon as I saw it. Always gutted to see things go in to sale as this one did! It has since totally sold out but here is a bigger, slightly more practical beach bag in a similar mirrored embellished design. Lastly my Ralph Lauren sunnies which haven't left my face all holiday! The black version is available here.
This, I call my china plate look. I have a shirt in a very similar pattern and just love how fresh it looks! This bikini is actually last years which I found in the sale... I do always bargain hunt for everything! They haven't bought out anything similar again this year but am hoping a one piece in the same sort of pattern might just come on for the next holiday season!
Lastly, a very full on palm tree look. My favourite print of all! My sunnies as seen above are my Ralphies. The white beach dress was from H&M, one of there absolute bargain pieces at only £9.99 which I saw, loved, went back to buy and was out of stock in every single size. Totally gutted, I checked the page everyday refreshing rather a little too much... but it finally came back in and I got my hands on it. Phew! This bikini is an ASOS number obviously! Something very similar here in a non strapless version, print is equally as perfect!
So many bikinis, so little time... Until next summer!
The past two weeks have been simply amazing. After the crazy whirlwind of organising and having a wedding, the most perfect thing to do is escape, go lie on a beach, and do absolutely nothing else... and that's exactly what we did.
After spending a couple of nights in Hotel Du Vin Tunbridge Wells post wedding, we jetted off to Ras Al Khaimah (where on earth is that? Is the reply to the majority) ... which is in the UAE. Just an hours drive north of Dubai, it's far more deserted, untouched and out of the way of the bright city lights. We stayed in the Waldorf Astoria which was suitably grand and palatial with the most beautiful room over looking the Arabian Gulf. With only a 6 hour flight, guaranteed heat and the shiniest hotels in the world (personal opinion), it was a no brainer for us.
I have squeezed our fortnight of photos in to one blog post and it's pretty clear I get very snap happy at ever corner. Can you tell?
Major photo overload, I know... But what an amazing honeymoon never to be forgotten!
The out of office is officially on and whilst I'm honeymooning, my blog is also having a little holiday. Back in a couple of weeks!
