Right from when I started wearing make up, Bobbi Brown was always my go to place and it still is! It's always great to go for one of their make overs as it opens your eyes to so many of the products available where I really tend to stick to my basics that I always go back to!
For my latest make over I asked the artist to use all products that I didn't have... and here I am using a few of them. First off though, my favourite and most trusted item ever from Bobbi Brown is the foundation stick. I wear it everyday with out fail and as soon as it's close to running out I'll get a top up. My favourite product yet!
So starting with skin, I always moisturise my face and let it sink in for at least 5 mintues. I then go on with the foundation stick which I apply like war paint, and blend in using a buffing brush. You can apply as much or as little as you want and is really great for building up if you want a little more coverage for a special occasion.
I then add concealer (retouching face pencil) where it's needed and buff again. I always add a bit under my eyes for brightening and then over any red patches I have.
I then brush over my whole face the nude illuminating powder to take away any shine. This powder does have a shimmer to it which is lovely so you don't get completely mattified which I love!
To add some definition back in to my face, next to apply is bronzer and then some blusher. That's the face make up done. Super quick and easy!
Next I move on to the brows. I'm so excited to be using this brow gel which I didn't even know existed until I went for my latest make up session. I couldn't believe just how natural it made my brows look! You do need a really good dense but fine brush so you can literally add hair strokes with out getting big brown blotches.
It's taken me a couple of attempts to get them right but I think I'm just about there with them now. It also really lasts. Before this I was just adding brown eye shadow to my brows to add definition, which looked great... but by the end of the day had usually worn off.
After brows I move on to eyes. What I do here varies hugely as to what sort of occasion it is, but here I'm doing an easy every day look. I really love the Bobbi Brown eye shadow sticks. They are so easy to use whether you want to use a shimmery one and blend all over or like I've done here, also used a matt stick as a liner. I find these so much easier to use than the eye liner gel. You don't need such a steady hand and these sticks are so versatile!
To finish off I have added the smokey eye mascara which is the one I have had for a while. While I was in store I actually tried the eye opening mascara and it was amazing!! I'm definitely moving on to the one as soon as this has run out!
To finish off the look, I add my new favourite lip colour. The 'Art Stick' lip pencil which is actually so creamy and really long lasting! I put a tiny bit of vaseline on before hand which I think add the perfect amount of shine and means the pencil goes on so smoothly. I keep this in my handbag at all times!
If you were going to go and buy any of these products, I'd have to say my favourites are of course the foundation stick, and also the lipstick in Uber Pink. It goes with absolutely everything, and these are the 2 items I use with out fail daily.

DASSIE ARTISAN is a beautiful new store I stumbled across in my home town, Tunbridge Wells. I was immediately drawn in by a large wall of sequin baskets! They stock a whole range of beautiful home wear all in lovely neutral colours, featuring a lot of marble which is definitely a favourite of mine!
If I stayed in there long enough I could easily spend far too much money. Everything is so beautiful.. and somehow you reason with your self that you need it all!
Today I am showing you 3 of my favourite products. First up is the gorgeous sequin basket which I previously mentioned. This actually comes in three sizes (and also gold), I have the large and can't help but be tempted by adding a whole little family of sequin baskets! I'm using mine by my back door at the moment holding blankets for the summer nights spent on the patio.
I absolutely LOVE this bowl. I wont put this in the cupboard because I feel it really needs to be seen! This bowl also comes in a larger size and think they would so lovely together. Perfect for serving salads... I can't wait to use this at my next bbq!
The marble paddle board, as well as looking lovely perched on my work top is a really lovely serving board! I have plans to serve chopped bread on this with a little bowl of oil and vinegar at the end. I'll be needing to pop back in to the Dassie Artisan store for a little bowl!
The stripes are back! I'm wearing a couple of new brands today. The first is called TWIST X TURN which is just recently available at Topshop oxford circus and also online. They have really beautiful simple kimono style designs and I'm very excited to be styling this stripey number today!
The necklace I’m wearing today is by a company called POSH TOTTY DESIGNS who is stocked on JEWELSTREET (your one stop shop for all things jewellery!) JewelStreet stock so many amazing brands both in the UK and outside so the choice available is amazing. It will be hard not to add everything to your basket!
This is where I discovered Posh Totty. As a brand they specialise in personalised items which everyone loves! Most of their items you can get your own engraving on which is always such a lovely touch both for yourself, but these also make such beautiful gifts for friends and family! All their items so unique. What’s also great about Posh Totty is that they have such a variation of metals. Most of us like to stick to our one metal type. For me it’s silver! But… If you’re more of a gold person or even rose gold, then these guys have it all! This locket actually comes in two different sizes, I am wearing the small. You can get it in either silver, gold or rose gold… AND you can either get the engraving in clear or with a black print. To me, this necklace feels so personal and I know how unique it is having chosen all the different extras myself.
If you need a little inspiration as to what engraving to get, it’s well worth checking out their Instagram! They have lots of lovely images of products with words such as ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ as well as dates, names, initials and all sorts! There are a couple of pieces where you can get multiple engravings and I think it would be so lovely to have children’s names on these. Without any little people myself yet… I stuck to my initials!

I've paired the stripey kimono top with a pair of denim skinny jeans and some slip on shoes (the easiest shoes to wear) I am so lovely a slip on at the moment! I love the buckle detailing on these too.
The watch I am wearing today is from DANIEL WELLINGTON and is from their brand new collection of classic petite watches! I went for one with the rose gold trim (link below) and absolutely love it!

My bag is also a fairly new item which I love! Although today I'm using it by the little hoop handles, it also has an across the body strap which is always so useful! It's also a great way from taking it as a day bag to more of an evening bag. Love a bit of versatility!
I have seen SO many of these wrap style shirts around recently, so I thought I'd do a little bit of a round up of the ones I've found! All of these are under £30 too, whoop whoop! Just click to shop.
I'm finally in a dress! It seems like such a long time that I've had my legs out and felt so summery in good old England! We have been truly spoilt with the weather recently and am really hoping it lasts the whole summer!
Today I am wearing this gorgeous new dress from SHEIN and yes, as you will have noticed... another gingham item! This was the second piece of gingham I added to my wardrobe and I already have a couple more pieces! Can you tell I'm a fan?!
I'm also using my new FIORELLI bag (link below) which is new to the site and isnt it gorgeous! Such a perfect size and also comes with a long strap making it even more practical. I'm loving all the miniature bags at the moment, I think they look so cute! I went for this bag in a tan because I find it's a colour that just goes with everything! I feel it's working particularly well today with all the monochrome!
Paired with some classics, my WHISTLES leather jacket and my R&B espadrilles, which are 2 items I could not live with out. They get used over and over again, making it all more worth while just spending that little bit extra on them.
