I recently got this check dress which I thought would be great in the summer with a little white tee underneath (the dress is scrappy), but it seems I just couldn't wait until summer to wear it!
So, on this VERY cold day I decided to pair it with a black roll neck jumper, and leather jacker and then a coat on top too. Yep, it really was that cold!
I love an item that is versatile and this certainly is, which means it will be well worth every penny.
As Florence is approaching 3 months, I've recently stocked up on a lot of 3-6m clothes as her wardrobe was seriously lacking! All these bits are from JOJO MAMAN BEBE and all the prints are so lovely! I got some really gorgeous long sleeved vests with a little peter pan collar. I thought these would be ideal with little leggings but also under dungarees or a dungaree dress!
I also got a couple of pairs of leggings. JOJO's do 2 types of leggings, the normal and then the extra thick. The extra thick ones are amazing!! They are so comfortable and since Florence got her first pair a month or so ago... my whole NCT group have stocked up on them. One of the girls actually said the other day that we are all obsessed with napping hours and JOJO's leggings! She couldn't be more right!
On the more practical front, I got Florence her first swimsuit! It's SO cute and amazingly, has a built in nappy. I didn't know that this kind of thing even existed! It makes it all a whole lot easier though not needing to put a water proof nappy on underneath. I feel like it is only right that Florence's first swimsuit is from JOJO MAMAN BEBE as her first ever outfit also was. As soon as she was born she was put in this little duck embroidered baby grow. We didn't know what we were having so went neutral. Isn't it the cutest!
Lastly and probably my favourite... I also got the most beautiful all in one coat! It's currently a little too big, but I'm so excited for her to fit into it! JOJO's do such lovely prints and even before I was pregnant I had seen little people in this gorgeous all in one and thought I really ought to get it if I have a girl. I'm so pleased I've got one and I've actually got a hand me down of the exact same thing for age 12-18m. So... Florence even gets to wear it this time next year!
Lets get started with some photos of all these gorgeous products...

I've recently stocked up on some great winter classics. The first being this knit! It's from an independent shop in Tunbridge Wells called Anna Poulson and I literally love everything they sell. I find it seriously hard to walk past and not go in. I have this jumper also in black and live in them!
The coat I'm wearing today is from SHEIN and is an absolute bargain! It's £30! There are a lot of check style coats around at the moment and I'm really liking the trend. Toyshop and Newlook both have some really lovely ones.
Happy new year to all my wonderful readers! This isn't a blog post about the new January diet, fitness regime or anything along those lines... Because lets face it, come February I would probably have failed.
My new year isn't about resolutions, it's about doing MORE. My family have always on new years eve made 'THE LIST'. These are things we would like to do in the coming year.
Last year my list was huge. Places to go, home improvements to make... and the big one was to have a baby! Tick tick tick. This year I have a lot less on the list, but one thing I know I would really love to do is go back to Copenhagen with Florence. My husband and I went last March and I absolutely fell in love with the city. I need to go back!
I love reflecting on the past year and realising what I have achieved. Lots of people were doing 2017 round ups on Instagram stories which I thought was such a good idea! I joined in too... it's amazing to go back and see everything you have done!
Now it's time to bring on a lot of new adventures! What's on your list?
My first outfit post since having the little bub! I feel like I'm slightly out of practice and it's so strange seeing myself with out my bump!
Today I've gone for a fairly neutral wintery look. This fur gilet I've had for a couple of years now. I bought it from WHISTLES and absolutely love it! Luckily, there are lots of similar things out there at the moment.
Paired with some new jeans from TOPSHOP and simple grey roll neck from ASOS. I've stocked up on some new basics post baby but they aren't all fitting me quite how I would like them to. I've got some work to do for sure... but its advised you don't start exercising until 6 weeks post baby! But... I actually can't wait! So excited to go for a run. Not sure I thought I would ever say that!
A simple look for my first post back in blogging action! I'm hoping to get back in to the swing of things, but sometimes baby takes over! So... my posts may not be quite as regular as they were for a while. I'll be trying though!
